Our Office Policies
Important to Know
Best care
We have a team that will provide you with the best care.
Insurance
We gladly accept assignment from insurance companies and we will file claims to your dental insurance provider. However, you are responsible for your balance at the end of each appointment.
Cancellations
We require a minimum 48 hours notice for cancellations.
Our Emergency Dental Treatment Policy
If you require emergency dental treatment during our opening hours, please call 780-435-2888 before you arrive so we can prepare and reduce your waiting time.
For emergencies outside of patient hours, please call Dr. Jason Harvey at 780-722-7175. During an emergency appointment, the dentist will relieve your discomfort and make a diagnosis regarding the necessary treatment. Once the diagnosis is performed, you will be given options for which treatment(s) will work best for you.
Our Financial Policy
We are happy to assist our patients with their dental benefits by filling out the necessary forms or submitting electronically where possible. However, due to the dramatic changes with insurance benefits, we ask that all patients pay for treatment at the time of service and your dental insurance company will reimburse you directly. We accept payments from cash, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Interac. We do not accept payment by cheque.
Your insurance company can be billed directly by arranging a pre-authorized credit card for any additional balance due. When extensive treatment is necessary, an estimate of the fee will be presented before the treatment begins. We ensure that you are comfortable with the financial arrangements prior to each treatment.
Please speak with our team if you have any questions regarding fees, insurance, and financial arrangements. We are here to help you.
Our Infection & Sterilization Policy
Infection control is an important part of any healthcare practice. For the safety of our patients and staff, we observe the strictest guidelines possible. We have invested in state-of-the-art sterilization equipment, including a Class B sterilization unit and a disinfecting washer.
All of our staff are required to wear face masks, eye protection, and change gloves between every patient. All of our instruments are sterilized in authorized and monitored high-pressure sterilizers. The treatment rooms are sanitized for every patient to maintain the maximum asepsis.
If you have any questions regarding our infection control policies, please feel free to ask one of our team members.
